nach run, erase und bow haben manuel gagneux und seine band zeal & ardor mit götterdämmerung nun einen weiteren song aus dem kommenden album, das vermutlich schlicht zeal & ardor heissen wird, veröffentlicht – und das ding ist ein herrlich garstiges gitarrenbrett. könnte ziemlich phantastisch werden, was da im februar auf uns zukommt.

The Tower of Montevideo is the new track from the forthcoming album, The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows. Inspired by Palacio Salvo, an iconic 1920s building in Uruguay, it explores Albarn’s melancholic wonder at this part of South America, where Rio De La Plata meets the South Atlantic, a place he has described as both “familiar and utterly otherworldly.”
