This compilation is for all the Moms (and Dads) that have been lost to cancer. All proceeds from this compilation go to the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
The original idea for this comp last year was to find a way to honor my mom who passed from cancer and see if I could get some musicians to cover a song their mom would like and raise some money for charity along the way. Turned out that a lot of people were also looking for a way to remember someone they’ve lost to cancer. It was a truly incredible experience hearing from so many people how much Volume 1 meant to them and seeing how far it spread thanks to all the donations and shares. […]
