du meine güte, ist das lange her … anfang der neunziger waren die new yorker gitarrenkrachgötter sonic youth eine meiner absoluten lieblings-kapellen – das album goo halte ich auch heute noch für eine der grossartigsten stromgitarren-platten, die jemals aufgenommen wurde.

anlässlich des letzten bandcamp-friday hat die band nun zwei bisher nicht erschienene live-alben veröffentlicht, sämtliche damit erzielten erlöse wurden netterweise gespendet. win-win-win sozusagen. smiley.
