om zum grusse und herzlich willkommen zu ausgabe dreihundertsiebenundvierzig unserer lieblingsongs.

mit cover-versionen von klassikern ist das ja so eine sache, meist sind sie deutlich schlechter als ihre vorbilder. was fall out boy hier machen ist aber eher aktualisierung denn plumpes nachspielen – und ganz einfach gut gemacht. viel spass.

mit diesem album haben könig freddie und die seinen vor unfassbaren fünfzig (!!!) jahren damit begonnen, eine der grössten bands aller zeiten zu werden. man darf gar nicht daran denken, welche meisterwerke da noch gekommen wären, wäre freddie mercury nicht viel zu früh im alter von nur 45 jahren gestorben.
