es ist mittlerweile schmale fünfunddreissig jahre her, dass ich zum ersten mal dieses album gehört habe – ein album, das mich bis heute schwer beeindruckt.

ich war damals dreizehn jahre alt, bei meiner älteren schwester liefen the cure, aha, duran duran und natürlich all das langweilige radio-zeug. ein einziges mal pro woche strahlten die dritten programme formel eins aus, was bis zum start von mtv die einzige möglichkeit bleiben sollte, überhaupt einmal ein richtiges musikvideo zu sehen – ja, früher war auch nicht alles besser. >>>
